In 2011 at just 18 years of age Alice had not long completed her hairdressing apprenticeship and was renting a chair in a small salon that sadly closed its doors, Alice needed to find another salon to work from. The perfect commercial property became available and with the encouragement from her family she took the crazy leap to open her first small salon at 18 years old working on her own. Business quickly grew and the need to grow the team taking on staff was there, fast forward 11 years later and Callum joining the business full time as Director we have just over doubled the size of our beautiful salon space and have an amazing team of 7.

Hair is made up of proteins. Fabriq works with these natural building blocks of the hair to transform its shape, strength and more.
Fabriq gently loosens the hairs’ bonds to prevent curls and frizz from forming while our amazing low-pH proteins repair damage and strengthen every strand.
How Reset straightens curly, wavy or frizzy hair
If you think of the protein chains in straight hair as looking a bit like a normal ladder, curly hair would have ladders with offset rungs.
These offset rungs give curls their shape, and they’re made of ionic salt bonds.
Reset disrupts these bonds, while our unique blend of low-pH proteins repair, strengthen, smooth and add shine.
The transformed shape is then locked in with the help of the irons, fully activating the proteins.
This semi-permanent straighter and smoother shape lasts for up to four months, making your hair quicker to dry and easier to style every day.

Fabriq is a semi-permanent treatment and it lasts up to four months, depending on your hair type and its condition.
How much does a Fabriq treatment cost?
The cost of the Fabriq treatment will depend on your hair type, its condition and length, and the salon you choose.
What’s the minimum age for a Fabriq treatment?
The Fabriq treatment is licensed for use on clients from the age of six.
Can I have the Fabriq treatment if I’m pregnant?
Our treatments are built on conditioners and proteins and don’t contain formaldehyde or any of its derivatives. If you’re pregnant or nursing and have any concerns, we recommend you consult with your doctor before booking a Fabriq treatment.
Is Fabriq cruelty free and vegan?
Yes, Reset is both cruelty free and vegan.
Will I need to use special products at home after having the treatment?
To get the best from your Fabriq treatment and make it last, There are two ranges of homecare products, the Build range and the Hydrate range. Each range includes a gentle shampoo that’s free of sodium chloride (salt) and sulphates, a nourishing conditioner and a pampering mask. Your stylist will let you know which range will be best for your hair.
How soon can I wash my hair after having the treatment?
Once the Fabriq treatment is complete, you can wash your hair after as little as 30 minutes. Most people prefer to wait and wash at home whenever it suits them. Please note, it’s important that you rinse your hair for 3-5 minutes before washing it for the first time after having the treatment.
When can I colour with Fabriq?
Non-oxidising colours (direct acting true semi-permanent and temporary colours) can be applied directly after the first shampoo, which can be after just 30 minutes. Oxidising colours (tints, bleach, quasi-permanent) can be applied either 2 days before the service or 2 days afterwards. It is usually best to lighten prior and add depth and tone after the treatment.
